About EP Physie

The Edith Parsons School of Physical Culture was founded in 1961 by Miss Edith Parsons, with just a handful of clubs and teachers in its foundation year. Today, the school has over 30 clubs in all areas of New South Wales, from the Murrumbidgee area near the Victorian border to Woolgoolga in the far north, with the addition of a recent expansion into Queensland. Team and individual competitions are held annually, culminating in the illustrious State Grand Final at Sydney Town Hall each November. This is where the top competitors in each age group challenge to be named Champion Girl.

Fairfield City is proud to be a foundation club of the Edith Parsons school, which in 2025 will celebrate its 65th year.
